Back in 2014, some believed 2PAC might make a surprise return to the music industry at age 43. Of course, that didn’t happen… but something else did.


Could it be that in 2014, Prophet 2PAC’s spiritual energy was flowing through Pastor K-ICE on the night of his own 43rd birthday?









That year, Pastor K-ICE performed at the 43rd Tupac Shakur Birthday Bash in Los Angeles — an event that wasn’t even planned until the last minute. Miraculously, it came together in just 7 days, hosted at the hilltop mansion of USC Law Professor Jody David Armour.



When Pastor K-ICE performed his heartfelt track “Family Man,” two powerful affirmations followed:




  • Leila Steinberg, 2PAC’s first manager, told him that Tupac would have loved his song.








  • And Professor Armour said he was channeling the spirit of 2PAC during his performance.

Pastor K-ICE aka the 3rd Light Warrior 

is the spiritual continuation of 

Prophet 2PAC and Deacon DMX’s 

divine mission.

Prophet 2Pac (1st Light Warrior) knew someone would eventually take his place:


“I guess God didn’t find no replacement for 2PAC yet. As soon as He does, I’m gone.”









Deacon DMX (2nd Light Warrior) knew he was that replacement:


“There was a void he left… I don’t fill that void, but I do fill part of it.”









Now, it’s time for the final chapter…






Pastor K-ICE (3rd Light Warrior) stands as the final piece in this divine trilogy—fulfilling what all three warriors were called to do:


Bring the message of GOD to the STREETS… through Hip Hop Culture.



Pastor K-ICE has the BIGGEST STORY in HIP HOP—because he’s the one sent to FINISH THE MISSION.








But why Did the 3rd Light Warrior Have to Wait over 40 Years of age to start the mission?








The 3rd Light Warrior needed:


  • The maturity to handle the weight of this mission


  • A deeper understanding of spiritual identity


  • The ability to speak to both old and new generations




Let’s be honest—most people won't listen to spiritual advice from someone in their 20s or 30s.


That’s why the 3rd Light Warrior had to be over 40, from the 90’s Hip Hop generation, and shaped by both pain and purpose.

Tupac was the voice of justice and equality, especially when Black people were struggling in the early '90s. His mission helped spark belief in God among the lost and angry youth.






2️⃣ DEACON DMX – “PRAYED 🙏🏾 for the STREETS”


DMX made it normal to be raw, real, and still talk to Jesus. His music revealed the battle between the spirit and the flesh, showing that even the broken can be chosen.







3️⃣ PASTOR K-ICE – “TEACHES 📚 the STREETS”


Now, Pastor K-ICE continues the legacy—building a powerful movement through books, music, ministry, and media.

Three Different Artists. 

One Divine Mission.



Though their music styles are different, 
their purpose is aligned:

Bring God to the Streets!













So many Christians love to throw stones at Prophet 2Pac—as if he was some 40-year-old man who had time to figure it all out. 


But let’s not forget: Tupac was only 25 years old when he died. Twenty-five! Most of us, at 25, were still lost, still growing, still wildin' out. And yet, this young man was already writing poetry that shook the world, speaking truth to power, and calling out injustice like a prophet crying out in the wilderness.



Did all of his actions line up with the life of Christ? No. But what do you expect from someone still in their twenties? Even Jesus didn’t begin His public ministry until after He turned 30. That means Prophet 2Pac was still developing—still learning, still fighting, still figuring it out. But in that short time, he did more for awakening the minds of this generation than most of us did in our twenties.



So to the church folks who are quick to label him a “sinner” or “lost,” I say this with love: Give that young man some grace. Give him honor for the wisdom he carried, the love he expressed, and the boldness he showed in speaking up for the voiceless.


Stop throwing stones at Prophet 2Pac… he was doing his best as a young man on a mission.













Now, let’s talk about Deacon DMX.



Many Christians love to say, “He was too deep in the streets,” or “He battled too many demons.” But listen to me—DMX was sent into the WILDERNESS, just like John the Baptist. 


His mission was TOUGH, because he was surrounded by wolves. And to survive among wolves, sometimes you gotta bark like one! 


That’s why his character X was made to be TOUGH—his GANGSTA energy was a spiritual shield.



Deacon DMX had to learn, like all of us, how to balance that LAMB & LION energy—to be soft enough to pray, but strong enough to protect. 


He was BOLD. He prayed at concerts, in clubs, in the streets—wherever he felt led. 



While many Christians are scared to even say grace at a restaurant, this man was dropping tears and prayers in front of THOUSANDS at secular venues.


That takes HOLY GHOST boldness! That takes ANOINTING.



And yes, he battled addiction—but that’s the very testimony so many of us need. Because even in his struggles, he NEVER let go of God. He never gave up on the Lord, even when the world gave up on him. That’s real faith. That’s real discipleship.



Let me say this plain: Deacon DMX had more faith in Christ than many people who sit in church every Sunday.



He was a DISCIPLE being refined by fire, just like the rest of us. He was in the fight. He had a heart for Christ, and that’s what matters most to God.


So instead of judging his FLESH, recognize his FAITH.




To me, these men—Prophet 2Pac and Deacon DMX—they were WARRIORS on the frontlines. They walked through fire so others wouldn’t burn.


They taught us to pray, to speak up, and to never let our pain cancel our purpose.



So I say this to the world…

Your mission is not forgotten.
