A prime example of a LOVE WARRIOR is APOSTLE PETER, whose journey embodies the essence of LOVE combined with the READINESS to DEFEND and PROTECT!

The Ultimate Example of a LOVE WARRIOR
Apostle Peter, a key figure in the early Christian church, demonstrated what it means to be a LOVE WARRIOR. Known for his passionate nature, Peter's love for Jesus and his fellow disciples was profound.
This love was not just passive affection, but an active, sometimes FIERCE, commitment to PROTECTING those he cared about.
One of the most telling moments in Peter's life was when he drew his sword and cut off the ear of a soldier who came to arrest Jesus.
This act of DEFENSE, though rebuked by Jesus, highlighted Peter's WARRIOR SPIRIT.
Jesus told Peter to put back his sword, emphasizing that He didn't need physical defense.
This incident shows that even someone at the WARRIOR level, full of LOVE, can act out of SELF-DEFENSE when they perceive a threat to their loved ones.
LOVE WARRIORS like APOSTLE PETER remind us that LOVE is not passive, but active and sometimes requires TOUGH decisions.
By striving to become LOVE SOLDIERS and LOVE WARRIORS, we move closer to God's ideal for us and His promise of eternal paradise.
So we must:
- Embrace the Commandment of Love: Jesus gave us a clear directive in John 13:34-35: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another."
- Practice Tough Love: Being a Love Warrior means knowing when to show compassion and when to stand firm. Like Peter, there may be times when defending your faith and loved ones requires bold actions. However, it is essential to balance this with humility and a willingness to learn from Jesus, who is the ultimate example of love.
- Commit to Spiritual Growth: Moving from a believer to a Love Warrior, requires dedication to spiritual practices such as prayer, Bible study, and service. Surround yourself with a community that supports and challenges you to grow in your faith.
- Serve Others Selflessly: Love Warriors are known for their selflessness. They serve others not for recognition but out of genuine love and a desire to fulfill God’s commandments. Look for opportunities to help those in need and share the love of Christ through your actions.
Becoming a
“LOVE WARRIOR” is the “GOAL”!
Becoming a Love Warrior is a transformative journey that begins with REPENTANCE and COMMITMENT to Yeshua, deepens through the study of scripture, and is lived out through LOVING actions.
By following these steps, you will not only grow in your FAITH, but also become a powerful instrument of God's love in the world.

Step 1: The journey to becoming a Love Warrior begins with a heartfelt repentance and a commitment to follow Yeshua (Jesus), the Son of God. This means acknowledging your sins, seeking forgiveness, and inviting Yeshua into your heart as your Lord and Savior. This step lays the foundation for your spiritual transformation.
Prayer of Repentance: "Lord Yeshua, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I repent of my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I invite You into my heart and commit my life to following You. Help me to grow in love and faith as I embark on this journey to becoming a Love Warrior. Amen."

Let’s break it down.
Stage 1: FOLLOW ME – The BELIEVER Stage
The Call to Relationship
Jesus’ first words are simple yet profound: “Follow me.”
This is the foundational calling that marks the beginning of your spiritual journey. It’s about developing a personal relationship with Jesus, learning to trust Him, and understanding His love.
This stage is often experienced around the age of 30, symbolizing a time of awakening and commitment. Like the disciples who dropped everything to follow Jesus, we’re called to surrender our old ways and start walking by faith.
Key Characteristics of the BELIEVER Stage:
- A hunger to know God personally.
- Learning to walk in faith and obedience.
- Experiencing the transformational power of God’s love.
At this stage, your focus is inward—building a solid foundation in Christ and allowing Him to work on your heart.
Stage 2: AND I WILL MAKE YOU – The DISCIPLE/SOLDIER Stage
The Call to Preparation
Jesus doesn’t just call us to follow; He also promises, “I will make you.”
This stage is the process of transformation. It’s where you go from being just a believer to a disciple—a soldier in God’s army.
This stage typically happens around the age of 40, a time of maturity and readiness to be molded. Here, God is shaping you through trials, teachings, and experiences, preparing you for greater service.
Key Characteristics of the DISCIPLE Stage:
- A willingness to be refined and disciplined.
- Gaining spiritual tools and knowledge to serve others.
- Developing resilience and strength in faith.
In this stage, the focus shifts outward. You begin to see yourself as part of a bigger mission, training to carry out God’s purpose in the world.
Stage 3: FISHERS OF MEN – The WARRIOR Stage
The Call to Mission
The final calling is where everything comes together: “Fishers of men.”
In this stage, you are fully equipped to make disciples of others. You become a LOVE WARRIOR, reflecting Christ’s heart and guiding others to His light.
This stage often unfolds around the age of 50, symbolizing wisdom and readiness to lead. By now, you’ve endured the process of preparation and are stepping into your ultimate purpose—helping others discover the love of Christ.
Key Characteristics of the WARRIOR Stage:
- Actively spreading the Gospel and making disciples.
- Walking in boldness, love, and spiritual authority.
- Inspiring and equipping others to fulfill their calling.
As a LOVE WARRIOR, you are no longer just following Jesus; you’re leading others to follow Him too!
What It Means to Be a LOVE WARRIOR
Becoming a LOVE WARRIOR means embracing all three callings. It’s a journey of growth that transforms you into someone who doesn’t just believe in love, but lives it, shares it, and fights for it in a world desperate for healing.
Stage 1 prepares your heart.
Stage 2 sharpens your skills.
Stage 3 launches your mission.
The ultimate goal is to live out the greatest commandment: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” and “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:37-39).
